Presentation at MSE2022

Presentation at MSE2022
Tamadur Albaraghtheh, a PhD student in working package 2.2, presented the status of her research at MSE2022 congress in a talk entitled "The assessment of uncertainties in the degradation model of biodegradable magnesium-based implants". The purpose of the talk was to highlight the importance of selecting surrogate models appropriately based on the problem at hand. A mathematical model for the degradation of magnesium implants was implemented and tested using three different surrogate modeling techniques. Materials Science and Engineering Congress (MSE) MSE2020 is a biannual congress that is one of the largest English-speaking meetings in the field of Material Science and Engineering. In addition to scientific aspects, MSE brought together over 1500 experts on societal and economic impacts of materials technologies.
